Question: I love the idea from last week’s Recently Asked Question, but it doesn’t work for me, because my exhibit descriptions don’t appear in the transcript text – I enter my descriptions in a hidden text/comment, and I can’t figure any way to fill in the field inside the hidden text. Is there a shortcut to enter common exhibit descriptions into a hidden text?
Answer: EZ Text might be a simple solution. Just enter the descriptions into EZ Text, and then when filling in the description in hidden text, simply press F4 and the number of the EZ Text entry. If you need assistance remembering which number goes with which description, you can click View, Panes, EZ Text to view the EX Text entries in Edit.
