- Invest in a rolling case and Stenograph Mini Case along with the International Plug Set, a spare real-time cable, charger, SD card, writer, laptop, and iPad. Shipping can be expensive so have a backup plan if something unexpectedly breaks down.
- Check with your computer vendor for an international plug adapter or converter.

- Check with your airline ahead of time to see what you can and cannot bring on board. We recommend bringing your laptop and writer onboard with you if it is approved by the airline.
- Make a copy of your passport identification page and invest in travel insurance! It’s a good idea to also check with your health insurance company for coverage details while traveling.
- Check with your phone company for service and coverage details.
- Research your destination, the customs, laws, and emergency numbers. Ensure you have the necessary entry visa, including work visa/work permit.
