While we have added several new faces to our team, we also have numerous employees that have been with us for many years. Our employees come to work every day with the goal of finding ways to make your work life better, we thought you might enjoy getting to know a few of them. Here’s a Q & A with Patty Smullen.

What is your name? Patty Smullen

What is your title? Support Department Specialist

How long have you been working at Stenograph? 28 years! We have probably crossed paths at some point. I started out supporting Premier Power and CATalyst version 1.0! I may have converted your dictionary or sent you a software release CD. I assisted Cindi Lynch for a few years from the home office with her on-site training workshops. Now, I’m more behind the scenes supporting Reporter Suite and Chat. Ask me the weather! (Ok, you’re supposed to ask techy type questions, but I can tell you the Chicagoland weather too! LOL).

Can you briefly tell us about your family? One house, one husband of 29 years, one son, and one cockatiel.

What would someone not know about you by looking at you? Loyal, honest, caring, sarcastic person who loves her family, scrapbooking, and the Chicago Cubs!

Tell us what one thing on your bucket list. To drive Route 66 beginning to end. Road trip anyone?

What is your favorite vacation spot? Grand Canyon and Washington DC. As a family we prefer National Parks and museums for our vacations.

What is your favorite food? Not telling, that’s a password security question. 😉

What is your favorite part about your job? I love analytical and detail-oriented tasks. Oh yes, the people too!
